Skincare Review | SKINMISO Pore Beauty Nose Pack
I first read about this product on Kaykay’s blog, hers was an advertorial though but it seemed somewhat impressive. Skin Miso is actually a Korean beauty product (all the rage now) and I’m quite a fan of the Korean beauty philosophy placing alot of emphasis on the skin. This product believes that by removing your blackheads and whiteheads, moisturize them and then control the sebum production. That way, you won’t get enlarged pores!
Skin Miso Pore Beauty Nose Pack
Step 1- 10 sheets
Step 2- 10 Sheets
Step 3- Pore Beauty Essence 3ml
*Note: extremely unglam photos!
I bought mine with the comedone remover since I don’t have one. Honestly, it was such a bitch to use it. It’s very sturdy and steel-like, and using it just reminded me of extraction during facials.
It comes in a cylindrical container that keeps in nice and clean. So thumbs up!
So my main problems are really enlarged pores and blackheads the most
Step 1- Removing blackheads and whiteheads (10 mins)
Wash your face and stick the first mask on the middle of your nose
It actually smells pretty medicinal.
Effective in getting my whiteheads and black heads out? It’s alright?
After 10 minutes, remove the mask and exfoliate the leftover whiteheads and blackheads with a cotton swab
But since it’s my first time using the comedone remover, I was pretty clumsy with it. I did manage to squeeze it out of my huge zit though!
okay, I didn’t add in a photo of the whiteheads and stuff because it didn’t seem too well done. Also, as if showing my nose up close isn’t a vulnerable moment enough, all that gunk would really make me an ostrich.
Step 2- Contract pores with with hazel extract and keep skin moisturized
Wash your nose lightly around the area you want to treat and put on the second mask for 10 minutes
This was exactly like a mask, the liquid was of a thick consistency and it smelled pretty good
Step 3- Control sebum and gloss, absorb oil
Take off the mask and rub in the essence
This one smells like something you use when you go for facials.Okay, my nose is red from all that squeezing. Somehow I don’t think the picture does it justice, but I think that my pores are definitely cleaner and I got rid of the whiteheads at the sides of my nose!
Overall, I really liked this product.
-It seems to be somewhat effective-maybe because I’m not doing it right. But my pores were cleaner and smaller! Especially my huge zit, it’s healing pretty well!
-However, it takes more time and fuss than a regular facial mask sheet
-It’s pretty pricey :S
Bought it at Watsons for about SGD 35 on 20% off (the comedone remover included)
Usually retails for SGD 38.90
