SKIN&LAB E plus Moisturizing Vitamin E Cream

This is the last of the three SKIN&LAB creams I purchased a few months ago, along with the Vitamin C and Vitamin B variants. Frankly, I was least excited about this cream because it’s main purpose is to moisturize and I feel like that’s the purpose of many creams already that do more than just provide hydration. Do I need a special cream for moisturizing? Not really.

The cream is packaged in a aluminum foil tube with a black screw cap. The product itself is a white cream that has a smooth and emollient texture. Considering there is only 30 mL of product in each tube, it gets used up very quickly with regular morning and night application.
The scent is a bit difficult to describe. It’s really just a generic, sweet moisturizer scent.

The main functions are dryness and photoaging.
The description for the cream:
This product prevents skin damages and makes your skin moist and smooth by protecting cell membrane.
There are four other Vitamin creams in the Dr. Vita Clinic line:
  • Vitamin A plus Lifting
  • Vitamin B plus Trouble-X (reviewed here)
  • Vitamin C plus Brightening (reviewed here)
  • Vitamin K plus Red-X
The main ingredients are:
  • Vitamin E – is an antioxidant that our body doesn’t naturally produce, keeps skin moisturized
  • Selenium – mineral that helps protect skin from sun damage and improves firmness and elasticity
  • Inca Omega Oil – extracted from the Inca peanut, fights against dry skin and wrinkles
I had planned to use this as a night moisturizer to use at the end of my skincare routine, but it didn’t absorb well and it was only slightly moisturizing. My skin is quite dry now, so I need more hydration.

I tossed it aside for a couple of days, and then I decided to mix it with my BB cream and it has since become my favorite mixture. The combination creates a smooth, whipped texture and it applies more evenly too!
Overall, I think this would be a decent summer moisturizer, but it’s not mind-blowing.
None of the SKIN&LAB Dr. Vita Creams have given me enough reason to warrant another purchase. The three I tested were all only mediocre, and there are better hydrators out there. Although, if I had to pick one, I would say go for the Vitamin C plus Brightening out of the three.
Have you tried any SKIN&LAB products?
