Depending on where you live, winter can be the coldest and driest time of year. Usually during the winter time in cold climates, we tend to stay inside where the air is very dry and we usually crave fatty unhealthy foods. All these factors take a toll on our body and skin.

Try sticking to a summer diet this winter season. I personally know this can be very hard, but summer diets generally are filled with fruits and veggies that are full of vitamins and minerals. Having a winter diet full of fruits and veggies will keep the bodies immune system and your metabolism in peak condition. Making weight loss and maintaining your ideal body weight that much easier! Plus, it is important we keep our immune systems strong during the winter when cold and flu seasons are at their highest.

I was always surprised when I discovered many individuals use their same routine from the summer in the winter. You always knew someone did not have a good routine for the winter when their skin would appear very dull, dry and show fine dehydration lines.
