A few days ago I took a short vacation to Cebu and it was so wonderful! Today, I wanted to share “how to get rid of body acne fast” for any vacation!
WHAT CAUSES BODY ACNE?
Especially during the summer time when we sweat a lot, our body releases a lot of oil so it clogs our pores. Because of the bacteria, this can lead to an infection.
I know that many of you guys are stressed that people will see your body acne, especially areas like above your breast, arms, and and other parts of the body that shows when we wear summer clothes or bikinis when on vacation. Body acne can be caused because we didn’t thoroughly wash off our body cleansers. You know how we shower standing up, when we wash our hair, if shampoo and conditioner are left on our body then that can also cause acne. Especially since our back skin is thick so when you get acne on your back, there is high possibility that it can leave scars so we need to pay extra attention to our acne on our back.
So most importantly, how can we prevent body acne? Let me introduce you to simple daily tips to prevent body acne.
1. KEEP CLEAN
It’s important to keep our body clean to prevent body acne. If you have back acne, start showering your body every day, and we need to make sure that we exfoliate our body often as well.
If you don’t rinse thoroughly and leave shampoo, conditioner, or body wash on your body then it can be stuck as waste in your pores and this can cause body acne.
So please make sure that you rinse your body thoroughly. I will introduce in a little bit on how to take care of your body acne.
2. WEAR CLOTHES THAT ABSORB SWEAT AND HAVE GOOD VENTILATION
Different from our face, our back and other parts of the body is always covered with our clothes. So, especially during the summer time, it’s important to wear clothes that soak up sweat well and that is good for ventilation. This might be a little difficult to do but for those of you who have severe body acne, so try to wear clothes that is made of organic ingredients instead of synthetic materials. Or you can wear cotton which soaks up sweat fast. Linen material is also great to keep fresh especially during the summer time.
Another bonus tip is to be aware of what laundry detergent and fabric softener your using. You skin may be irritated by these, so try switch to organic or natural laundry detergent and softeners.
3. CONTROLLING WHAT YOU EAT
We need to cut down on oily food, flour, Sweets (candy, baked goods, chocolates) and dairy products. Because they all make your body release a lot of oil and can stimulate hormone imbalances. Instead, it’s great to eat fruits and vegetables that have a sufficient amount of vitamins. For me, I drink a lot of Date tea these days which is great to calm the heat of your heart and body.
4. BODY ACNE DUE TO STIMULATION FROM YOUR HAIR
Conditioner, hair gel, hair spray, wax and other products that we put on our hair can come in contact with our back and the top part of our breast so this can cause stimulation and also infection which leads to clogging our pores, resulting in body acne. There are many other causes also such as if there is a lot of waste in your small intestine, large intestine, and bladder then as the toxin piles up, this can cause body acne. Also, if you gain weight suddenly or loose weight suddenly, this can cause body acne. Not to mention, if you have physical and mental stress then of course this can cause body acne too.
MY SECRET ROUTINE ON HOW TO GET RID OF ACNE SCAR FAST
It’s good to exfoliate your body 1-2 times a week as we do for our faces. If we don’t exfoliate our skin then no matter how much moisturizer you put on, our skin is not as smooth. It’s hard to soak in moisture because of the dead skin. So it is very important to exfoliate our body.
How to: Put water on your body, and you can use a scrubbing product or use a hard type towel with a body soap and exfoliate.
I use a Korean style type of exfoliating, called DDaeMilee. It is a towel that is made of organic materials. This helps to exfoliate while going keep into your pores and getting rid of the waste.
2. BODY CLEANSING
My secret item! If you use this Klairs body soap and towel to wash your body every day then your body acne will disappear.
How to: Put water on the soap and make a lot of bubbles, then put the bubbles on the towel and rub the parts of the body that you have body acne. This soap that smells like chocolate has AHA in it. It also has extracts of Alovera Leaf, Propolis, Shea Butter and much more which are excellent ingredients for people with sensitive skin and it’s great to calm your skin also. They also have honey, chocolate, and olive oil for an outstanding moisturizing effect. In Korea, it’s already well known for its’ excellent effect to get rid of your body acne fast.

The towel is a soft type. So there are 2 types including the hard type I introduced to you before. I use the hard type once a week and the soft type, I use daily. It’s soft enough to use daily so I want to recommend it for even people with sensitive skin types like myself. It’s made of superfine fibres so it gets rid of waste that builds up everyday and thoroughly cleanses my skin. Every time I shower, I use this towel and body soap. These are my secret body acne care products!
3. CENTELLA CREAM
After cleansing thoroughly with the body soap, put on Centella cream that will help you to calm and get rid of the body acne. You guys know that you can use this on the face right? This cream has sebum control and it forms a protective layer for moisture. The texture is like of an ointment. It’s very chewy but it soaks in really fast. It removes acne scars and keeps your skin clean.
